WHAT TO DO IF YOUR CARD GOES MISSING:


If your Bank of Whitman Visa card has been either lost or stolen, please give your local branch a call as soon as possible.

 

You should also contact Visa directly and report your lost card:

FRAUD PREVENTION & TRANSACTION SECURITY VIA FALCON/FIS


We've partnered up with Fidelity Information Services (FIS), to offer the Falcon Neural Network, a fraud identification service that keeps and eye on your normal spending habits with your Visa credit card and Visa Check Card transactions to determine whether they are suspicious.

When FIS detects unusual or suspicious activity, they contact you to confirm whether or not the transactions were made by you or someone trying to commit fraud.

Some of these calls are made using an automated system designed to verify transactions with the card holder. If you're not available, the system will leave a message to call (800) 890-5097 or (800) 437-9392 to verify recent card activity.

Responding quickly to these calls can prevent your card from being suspended while we're trying to make sure the transactions were yours.


If you answer a confirmation call from FIS, follow these steps to guarantee that you are speaking with a legitimate FIS representative, 

Please tell them you will call them back.
Then call FIS at (800) 890-5097 or (800) 437-9392 and verify your recent card transactions.

If you're not comfortable dealing with FIS, you can also contact your local branch during normal business hours and we can help verify your recent card activity.


FIS will never ask you for your Bank of Whitman account number or PIN (password or access code) or your entire Social Security number
. You might be asked for your card number, but not the card's expiration date.

You will only be asked to verify specific transactions on your account.

If you ever have questions regarding the Falcon service, please contact us.

Important Note


If you plan to travel and want to avoid having your card privil suspension of your card privileges for unusual activity, please contact us and we will make note of your travel schedule.

If your card is blocked by Falcon/FIS:

Give them a call at (800) 890-5097 or (800) 437-9392 to remove the block & restore your account.
